Kedar Country Hotel is situated on Boekenhoutfontein, the historic farm
of President Paul Kruger. Situated 21km from Sun City and Pilansberg and
stretching over 700 acres, the farm is game fenced and populated with
a variety of game. Accommodation is comprised of 62 African-themed, rustic,
stone and thatch rooms. The conference venue accommodates up to 150 delegates.
Kedar offers guests various dining options: The Armoury Restaurant, The
Boma and The 1872 Restaurant - the Victorian style house Pieter Kruger
built for his family during the late 1800’s (open by arrangement). Boekenhoutfontein
and the historic buildings on the land were declared a National Monument
in 1971. The main Kruger House is a museum showcasing a wide range of
Kruger memorabilia and other items of historical interest.
