The story of Creation Wines is as old as the hills, dating back to when Mother Nature created South Africa’s beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde Valley and bestowed upon it exceptional winegrowing conditions. At the same time, the story is as young as the vibrant team who since 2002 has been investing their talents to create a wine range of great distinction. Swiss wine makers JC Martin and Christoph Kaser have a combined 30 years winemaking experience. Creation falls under the appellation of Walker Bay - fringing the south-western shores of the Atlantic Ocean, this region is among the coolest in South Africa and renowned for wines rivalling the world’s best. Only hand selected grapes grown on the farm find their way into the cellar. Here gentle vinification and Swiss precision result in terroir-expressive wines with the exuberant flavours of the New World – beautifully balanced with the finesse and sophistication of the old. White varieties include Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay and Semillon. Red Varieties include Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Syrah and Grenache. The estate is open to the public for wine tastings and delicious food platters are available for order.
